Felted Holiday Mosaic Table RunnerTeresa May O’BrienSaturday and Sunday, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Tuition: $264.00 plus $25 materials fee During the holiday season, deck out your table with a hand crafted table runner. Using hand crafted wool pre felt, students will prepare mosaic tiles. Students are asked to bring a photo or painting or fabric sample to use as model for preparing the large pattern to follow while laying out the tiles. After the tiles are laid out, fabric and backing wool will be added to create a light weight laminated felt. This layout will be wetted and rolled in order to felt the layers into a sensational functional art piece.
